Us
Hi, my name is
Brian Stramel and I’m a personal trainer in Hillsboro, Oregon.
I am also an officer in the Oregon Army National Guard with a
tour in Afghanistan. I worked as a security contractor on a
protective detail in Iraq and served 7 years on active duty in
the Army.
My main motivation to
learn about fitness in the past has
been
to keep myself in shape for high risk security work and to be
able to perform my duties as an infantryman in combat. Now that
I am home, I want to
help other people get better results with their fitness and
weight loss efforts.
My wife
Rachel posts reviews and blogs from time to time. She is a
working mom who just wants to stay in shape and can relate to
the struggles of balancing all those things. We have a 3 year
old daughter, Grace.

I'm Rachel, and I'm a mom to a very active three year old. I'm
not a great athlete and was never that interested in sports or
in working out. From the couch, I watched my husband workout
with his Kettlebell for
years!
After our daughter was born, I decided I needed to get back into
shape and get serious about lowering my cholesterol and getting
healthy. Being so fatigued, it was a struggle simply trying to
get off of the couch and get through the day. I was pretty sick
of saying "I should workout" and then finding excuse
after excuse and not having any energy to exercise. I was
just tired of being tired.
I have come a long way since then. I love helping and
encouraging other Moms to get fit and to make time for
themselves. It *is* possible, even with our crazy lives and busy
families. I hope you find some great ideas here. My Kettlebells
have given me a healthier and slimmer body, stronger muscles,
and increased self-esteem and energy. As they say, enjoy the
pain!
